About Dave

Lifestyle Photography Expert

Hello, thank you for taking the time to stop by.

Photography might not have been my first love, but it most certainly is the deepest and most enduring one. It’s a calling, not a job.

It’s a real rush for me, a place of joy, when I’m in the zone focussed on my craft of photography.

A Wealth Of Experience

I started professionally shooting people (and things) in 2008 after deeply immersing myself in studying digital photography for years. After first shooting property to close a gap in the Tasmanian market, I moved my business into the broader commercial world.

Ever since, I’ve supported businesses who understand the marketing and sales power of quality imagery as a reflection of their brand.

Professional Photography Connects People + Brands

To create powerful images that draw people in, a photographer needs a finely balanced mix of passion, patience and technical skill combined with worldly experience to help look at the broader context (and image composition) from a unique angle.

As a professional photographer with a calm and easy demeanour, I help each client feel relaxed, comfortable – and most importantly, that their brand is in safe hands.

Why Choose Lifestyle Photography?

Interestingly, when I looked back at the images I love the most, they were also those that generated the most powerful responses and outcomes for my clients.

Those images are what I call ‘lifestyle photography’.

Telling a beautiful and positive story will connect you to your customers with flair and authenticity. They are images that are direct, clear and relatable.

Strong Images Are Better Business

Whether you run a tourism venture, a medical practice or a logistics company – I would love to help you attract more of your perfect customers.

I can convey your brand’s unique story in compelling visuals that will engage your clients deeply with your business.

I look forward to speaking to you soon – and have you experience the power of the stunning visual stories we can create together.

Love and light (through the lens),

Dave Groves
