The Peppers Silo Hotel is one of Tasmania’s most striking examples of adaptive reuse, transforming former waterfront grain silos into a contemporary landmark. Designed by ARTAS Architects with interiors by Nicole Armitage, the hotel blends raw industrial character with refined detail—52 rooms are ingeniously housed within the original silo barrels, complemented by warm timber, natural textures, and bespoke furnishings.

Celebrated with architecture, tourism, and sustainability awards, the Silo Hotel has become a symbol of Launceston’s revitalised waterfront. My photography has played a key role in shaping its brand identity, showcasing the unique architecture, interiors, and atmosphere that position it as both a design icon and a leader in Tasmanian hospitality.
