Professional approach to B2B
You are a successful business owner, enamoured with what you do and have created. You support your networks and suppliers and through them have created a wonderful community.
Aside from the first voice your customers hear (cue your valuable receptionist), your image portfolio is the place where customers can see what you do and how you do it. It needs to reflect your values, your mission and how you engage with your audience.
As a professional in my field, I understand how to create these value driven image libraries to best effect.
As an old barrow boy I learned that no matter what you do, it’s always about keeping everything simple and working with those around you in the most efficient way possible to achieve the best result for everyone involved. This is easily applied to my role as a professional branding and marketing photographer.
My workflow begins at the end - with your required outcome. Every image is thoughtful and purpose driven to give your business customers the story they need to see. With that in mind, you will attract the right audience, gain trust and loyalty to your brand and convert enquiry to sales.
We used Dave for the photos to sell our business. We would highly recommend Dave. He was professional, efficient, easy to work with and provided great ideas and advice on which photos to take. Dave had a good eye for detail and angles etc. He made the whole process easy and uncomplicated and listened to us as well. It was a pleasure to work with him. All our friends were very impressed with the quality of the photos that were in our advert.

Get to know my workflow
We all have workflows that we have developed to make efficient use of our time for us and our clients.
As I mentioned professional photography starts with your outcome. It may be a brand introduction, a new product launch or even some new staff headshots. Once we have a purpose, we need a destination. Perhaps you are looking at billboards with great detail, website heroes, or something as simple as a library of images to share over social media.
Everyone has a budget for their marketing photography and this is the next step. Here it’s best to try to think more about investment rather than a price. Think about your business and what customers you are trying to attract. You’ve already put so much effort into what you do and have created, yet often it’s the photography (or a sketchy receptionist) that lets you down. I bang on about receptionists, but for me they are my perception of how the business is. Gold.
Back to photography.
Once we have those ducks lined up, we can begin to build a story outline (a general overview), a brief (which is just about adding detail), then a run sheet (which gives a real timeline for the project or assignment).
Along the way we will discuss styles and themes, lighting, talent and props etc … in short, everything we will require to get the job done in the most timely and efficient manner … while we all keep smiling!
I commissioned Dave's expertise in taking corporate head shots of our staff. Dave was prompt and professional and his photos were exactly what we requested. Dave was such a delight to work with.

Bests, Dave.
“I had a fantastic experience with Dave Groves photography. Dave was very helpful and easy to communicate with to help me set up the actual day and what I wanted in terms of photos for my business. Come the actual photography day he was prompt, had a wonderful calming approach and couldn't have been more professional or helpful. Dave was also very prompt in getting the photos to me for review and nothing was ever too much trouble for him. I found Dave to be highly experienced and with an eye for detail, design and creativity”.
